A summer health camp for Jewish children functioned in Rabka for half a century. In that time, over 10,500 Jewish children from underprivileged families in Kraków and - from the 1930s on - from other parts of Poland benefitted from participating in this undertaking. The summer camp was utilized to cure tuberculosis and other childhood ilnesses resulting from poverty and poor living conditions. This article analyses the functioning of this little-known undertaking
